Hi!

I get this message from my computer:

Troubleshoot a problem with Haali Media Splitter

Haali Media Splitter has stopped working properly.

Haali Media Splitter is a codec. The file name of this codec is SPLITTER.AX.

To try to solve this problem, follow these steps. One step might solve the
problem, but if it doesn't, then go on to the next step.

   1.

[image: Click to go to the Haali Media website to check for and install
SPLITTER.AX updates]Click to go to the Haali Media website to check for
   and install SPLITTER.AX updates <http://haali.cs.msu.ru/mkv/>
   2.

Use the regsvr32 command to unregister SPLITTER.AX
   <#here>

If you don't know which program is causing this problem, you can remove
SPLITTER.AX from the list of installed codecs by unregistering it.

   *Warning*
Disabling SPLITTER.AX will cause any programs that depend on the codec to
   stop working or lose functionality.
    1.

Click the *Start* button , and then, in the Search box, type *Command
Prompt*. From the list of results, right-click *Command Prompt*, and
then click *Run as administrator*. If you are prompted for an
administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide
      confirmation.
      2. At the command prompt, type *regsvr32 /u SPLITTER.AX*, and then
press *ENTER*. SPLITTER.AX is now unregistered.

What should I do if the regsvr32 command fails or returns an error?
   <#here>

If the steps to disable the SPLITTER.AX did not work, you can try
renaming the file to disable it.
    1.

Click the *Start* button , and then, in the Search box, type *
      SPLITTER.AX*.
      2.

In the list of search results, right-click *SPLITTER.AX*, and then
      click *Open file location*.
      3.

Right click *SPLITTER.AX*, and then click *Rename*.
      4.

Rename the file (for example, change the name to *SPLITTER.AX.old*).
Remember the file name so you can enable it later if you need to.

If these steps don't solve the problem and you continue to receive problem
reports, please consider filling out the survey at the bottom of this page.
To help us continue to investigate this error, include the names of the
add-ons that are currently enabled in Internet Explorer in the comments area
of the survey.

So I went to your website, but found no place to download possible updates.

What do I do now?

Anne
