hello.
whenever encode video/audio into a matroska container with ffmpeg,
i cannot get the bitrate of the streams inside the mkv later.
ffmpeg later reports just "bitrate N/A", mencoder "BITRATE = 0"
is this an ffmpeg issue or something i dont understand about
the matroska container? ( i use dirac/flac inside mkv )
is there any way to correct this afterwards?
also is there a reason why mkvinfo does not report the bitrate of
a stream at all? is this by design?
startx
PS: the files play fine though.
