Please don't. There will always be bugs present in mkvtoolnix releases,
and if you hold updating ports until those bugs are fixed you'll never
update. I will probably not release the next version before middle of
February.

On the other hand 3.1.0 fixes a couple of very important bugs in things
that people actually use (and VOBs as input files aren't that common to
begin with); so it'd really be better to have 3.1.0 with this VOB-4GB-bug
than having only 3.0.0.
