[Matroska-users] Problems with Haali Media Splitter

This is because VLC uses its own internal decoders and Mediaplayer Classic
and WMP use a Directshow filter chain. Mediaplayer Classic
'File->Properties->Details' should show you what format it hinks it is. If
you want to see which filter chain is actually used, simply use Graphedit to
'Render Media File' and you will see the filters being used. This does not
necessarily show ou what format the file is, it only shows you what
components are used to render it. FOr that use the properties tab.
