What kind of content can't you play, and how so do you mean "can't play any
high definition content"? Do you mean MKVs, or will HD MOV files from
Apple's trailer site not work, or any of Microsoft's HD WMV samples not work
wither? Also, there are some other HD samples out there that ought to work
without Matroska, such as "Elephant's Dream" (which is an "open source"
movie and is legal to distribute over the Internet)

The reason I ask is because Haali's Media Spliiter oughtn't interfere with
the rest of the computer's playback of meda. Depending on your definition of
"can't play" that might just mean you don't have enough processing power to
play back high definition video.

Sounds like a problem with Halli's Media Splitter. I'd contact the
developers, but it could just as easily be a problem with something else in
Windows causing a problem.
