> How do you open AX files in Vista?
.ax files are normally DirectShow filters. They can have a .dll or .ax
extension. They are not ment to be opened, but to be installed. Nobody
in the matroska team is using Vista, and we also have no intention doing
so. For XP, there is a program called regsvr32.exe in the \Windows\
directory, if you open the .ax file with it it will install and register
the DirectShow filter on this computer, so that it can be used from any
DirectShow based Mediaplayer, such as Windows Mediaplayer.
