Wait and see what? I like vista, I think matroska has to catch up. What good is a container when you can't open it with the tools that are out there. Even when i was using XP burning was difficult. It's harder now with vista but i think matroska should have more advice than wait and see or change my os. Was that even a whole sentance?

hi, i'm having a problem with converting mkv movies to dvd so i could burn them to dvd.
i downloaded "convert x to dvd" but it will not work with "windows vista".
i am not new to this convertion thing, i know a little.
i have searched far and wide to find software that will convert mkvs and work with "vista", but i have had no luck finding such a program.
TMPEG XPRESS works on some of them but either it will leave out the subs or it will leave out the audio.
i now have a movie with no audio, so i figured i would extract the audio from the original and have TMPEG mux it in but i can't even find anything that will work on mkvs and "vista". I need your help! thanks
