Haali Media Splitter supports such files if the video/audio formats 
used in the files allow this.

Saying such files are invalid is IMHO an exaggeration: A file can have 
multiple segments, just the repeated EBML header might constitute a 
violation of the specification.

Also, it is copy /b and not \b
