You cant play .mkv files on dvd players unless that dvd player
supports matroska and it supports the codecs that are used inside of

you will have to convert the mkv into a dvd if you want to play it on
your dvd player.

Wonderfu !!, the dvd I encoded in .MKV is perfectly read by my PC,
very good quality !!
I have a DVD/Divx player Liteon LVD 2001 connected to my tv , and i
would like to view my mkv files on the tv. But this extension format
is not recognized and the liteon player says there's no file on the
disk :-(.
Do you have solutions ? Can you help me and tell me how to read these
files not only on the computer?
