You cant play .mkv files on dvd players unless that dvd player
supports matroska and it supports the codecs that are used inside of
it.

you will have to convert the mkv into a dvd if you want to play it on
your dvd player.

If i want to burn a .MKV file and play it on my dvd player, HOw is it
