| This is probably due to the new lacing schemes used. Please recompile
| mplayer with libebml 0.6.2 and libmatroska 0.6.1 and make ABSOLUTELY
| sure that you don't have any older version of both libs lying around
| anywhere. This should solve the problem of the sound being ugly.
|
| If you want to check whether this is really the problem then add
| '--disable-lacing' to mkvmerge's command line.

Indeed, with the '--disable-lacing', it works !

But when I move fast forward or backward in the movie, the sound become
slower during 10 seconds and videolan say :

"This file was encoded with libavcodec build 4680
header damaged
header damaged
header damaged
header damaged
header damaged
header damaged
header damaged
header damaged
header damaged
header damaged
[00000187] main input: EOF reached"

(this is only one fastforward)

mplayer doesn't have this problem but says : "Subtitles requested but
not found"

anyway, it seems to work, good job and many thx! I have libmatroska-dev
0.6.1 and libebml 0.6.2
