[Matroska-devel] Severe Lag in MacOSX

Hi i'm facing severe video lag when i play .mkv file using both vlc and
mplayer. How do i fix this problem?
Please note my machine details below:

MacOSX Version 10.4.11
Processor 1.2 GHz PowerPC G4
Memory 768 MB DDR SDRAM

I do not encounter such lag when playing avi or even divx type file. Please
help. Thanx
