[Matroska-devel] Reading AR flag from MKV track header in MPC ?

Hi Gabest,

allow me a quick question, copied to the matroska-devel list :

With Zoomplayer supporting reading the matroska AR flag from the track 
header recently there are now alltogether 6 players supporting this 
important feature :

TCMP
VLC
Xine
mplayer
Koolplaya
Zoomplayer

but MPC, probably the most used player for matroska files, still needs a 
build of ffdshow with overlay enabled. Now very unfortunately all the 
latest ffdshow builds with support for XviD beta versions have overlay 
broken :-( ..... . SysKin from the XviD team implemented passing of the 
VIDEOINFOHEADER2 struct in the latest XviD decoder filters, so this 
works fine with AR correction now, but then again we cant add this 
filter to our installer packs because there is the complete xvidcore 
coming with it, and i am afraid of licensing problems when doing so.

Long speech, short message : Is there any chance you could use Toff's 
MKV track info interface, that he added to the latest matroska splitter, 
to read AR info from the MKV direcly in MPC ??
