Hi David,

Using the information you gave us, I modified mkvmerge/mkvextract to 
save less data from the header in our Blocks. The only data that is not 
recovered on extracting is the total number of samples which is set to 
-1. As you said it doesn't matter, it's safer for us and for editing 
purposes...
