[Matroska-users] bad picture quality on MKV files with MPC+Haali

Hi,

I have this problem while watching MKV files, encoded with x264, using
Haali as renderer in MPC. Check the screenshots to see what it's all about:

MPC and Haali as renderer:

MPC and VMR9 Renderless

Using pretty much any other renderer gives much better picture quality
than Haali.

I have these codecs installed(all latest versions):
Core AVC
Koepi's xVid
AC3 Filter
VSFilter
and of course Haali Media Splitter

I can play pretty much everything(using MPC) fine, but it's quite annoying
not to be able to use Haali as my renderer since everyone says it's the
best.

My video card is Radeon HD3870 and I "heard" ATI's cards have problems
with using Haali. Is that true? If so, does anyone know any workarounds or
solutions?
