[Matroska-users] Error Help

Hello 

I watch a lot of anime downloaded from the internet and quite a lot of it is in MKV files.
Anyway Ive downloaded a couple of MKV media files but cant play them because of the error 
"Invalid first byte of EBML ID: 00" 
I am at a loss of what to do. could you please help me.
I have run the diagnostic and tryed to search for a solution on the net. and of course were unsuccesful.
I would greatly appreciate any help at all.
