[Matroska-users] Vobsub in matroska and mplayer

I'm muxing some vobsubs into mkv's and playing them with mplayer in linux. Everything works, but the colors are inverted. I get black text with a white outline. It seems that setting the pallette and/or custom colours in the .idx file has no effect so I figured it must be hardcoded in either matroska or mplayer. I could not find any settings in the mplayer docs to change the colours for vobsubs.

Any ideas?
