Hello,

I take a look on the MKV specification on our web site and I note that some compression algo are crossed out (lzo/lzox1 & bzlib/bz2). 


Does it mean that you have removed them from the supported compression algo ?

They're deprecated. New products should not create files with these
compression settings, and they're listed for backwards compatibility and
so that the numbers won't be re-used in the future.

A demuxer doesn't have to support lzo & bz compression.

Can you please let me know what I need to do to open a mkv file with. when i go on the link it asks to download many files i don't know which to choose?
i believe is, core media player for windows?

You should try VLC. It works everywhere without troubles.
