At launch of the video, the image is blocked (like paused) but the sound continue. If I pause the video and play again, the image is not blocked anymore. I've tried with MPC and KMP and I have the same wrong behavior. This only happen with Vista. Thanks _____________________________________________________________________________ Envoyez avec Yahoo! The file is a movie titled the "Matrix trilogy" and is in HD-DVD and has a size of 24 Gb with each film having a size of 8Gb. The file is an MKV file and my problem lies in trying to play the file. Windows Media Player, Winamp, DivX... cannot play the file, which I guess is because they do not support or have the codec required to play the file. I then did some reading online and downloaded VLC since it was said that VLC would play most files and supports nearly all codecs, but when I played the file with VLC I only had the audio and no image. I downloaded a program called video-inspector and placed the matrix trilogy films into video-inspector which then told me that I need the codec called "MPEG4 ISO advanced" for the vodeo and for the audio I need "(Dolby(TM))AC3". I have checked on your website and you only give a description of these and have no links for downloads. I would be exceptionally grateful if you could help me with this, or tell me how I could get hold of the codecs or any other way/program in which I could play the file. Many thanks. Yours sincerely. Jobin. _________________________________________________________________ Invite your Facebook friends to chat on Messenger http://clk.atdmt.com/UKM/go/101719649/direct/01/ -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I would like to make a full copy of my DVDs, including all menus, subtitles, languages, etc. but in H.264. It seems that it could be done with matroska container, but I've been searching in internet last 3 or 4 days and I can't find a easy-to-use program that can do that. Could you tell me whether you know a program that can do that? And, another question, do you know whether exists a standalone player that can play .mkv? I hope you can answer me. Thank you in advance for your attention. Kind Regards. Marco. _________________________________________________________________ La ?ltima hora de tu ciudad en MSN Noticias http://noticias.es.msn.com/ -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... But I have this problem with VirtualDubMod and .mkv files that I can't seem to be solving. When I load a .mkv file into VirtualDubMod, it says that there is a VFW codec error. I've tried to install several codec packs and used different configurations but I can't seem to fix this problem. I also tried to download a VFW codec but I couldn't find any. If you have any suggestions on how to fix this I am more than happy to read it.
