[Matroska-devel] Exposing 'h264' support in haali splitter

Hi Mike,

Looks like the previous mail regarding adding 'h264' support didn't reach the recipient. One alternative that other media developers are exploring is to add a Dshow filter which takes in 'avc1' and converts it to 'h264' or wrap haali splitter in a filter which exposes both avc1 and h264.
It would be great if we can avoid this extra component.

Hi Mike,
Not sure whether you received the following mail.
http://lists.matroska.org/pipermail/matroska-devel/2009-March/003485.html

I would deeply appreciate if you could let me know whether you have any plans for adding Annex.B format support to haali splitter. Currently we are trascoding 'avc1' content to WMV for playing back on XBOX and the resultant video quality is terrible
