[Matroska-devel] Nero Recode incompatibility

Hello,

first of all i would like to thank all developers of the Haali Media
Splitter. For me, this is an absolutely important piece of software for
playing back my .ts files recorded from my DVB hardware. I really
appreciate it a lot.

I am writing because i (and others over at the Doom9 Forum) have noticed
some kind of incompatibility with Nero Recode (also the most recent
Recode 3.0). When i try to drag my DVB recorded .ts files (mpeg2 or
h264, doesn't matter) into Recode, Recode just reports that it
encountered an error and cannot continue. Actually, i used to think that
Nero simply could not handle .ts files until someone at Doom9 pointed
out that it works perfectly once Haali is uninstalled. And it indeed
works once Haali is uninstalled. Now, since i am not very familiar with
the internals of both pieces of software, i report the problem to both
parties not knowing whose fault this actually is. In any way, the
problem exists somehow. If you know for a fact that Nero is responsible
for this, please ignore this mail.
